How to use a swaddle

1. Spread the muslin wrap out on a flat surface in a diamond shape with one of the corners pointing towards you.
2. Fold down the top edge of the blanket to create a triangle shape. Lay your baby down with their feet pointing towards you. Make sure their shoulder is just below the fold in the wrap.
3. Keep your baby’s right arm slightly bent and fold the right side of the wrap up and over their body, tucking it underneath on the other side. Leave the left arm free.
4. Fold the bottom of the wrap up over your baby’s feet, tucking it behind their shoulder if it's long enough.
5. Take the remaining side of the wrap and fold it up over the baby’s left arm and body. The swaddle should be tight enough to firmly hold the arms but still allow babies to wiggle their hips and legs for proper development.

Cleaning and maintaining your baby swaddle and wraps
