Here in Australia, mattress lengths and depth remain relatively consistent across manufacturers.
At Amart Furniture, our mattresses use the following approximate dimensions, but may differ slightly by brand:

The thickness of the mattress can change depending on the support, make, and features of that specific mattress.
For example, extra comfort layers, toppers, and spring variations can mean a thicker or thinner mattress.

Double Mattress

Ready to move up a level? Then start looking at a Double mattress. With a wide availability and lightweight design, Double bed sizes are great for growing teens, moving out of home, or when the dog loves to snuggle.
The downside? They’re on the slightly smaller side for couples. They are also the same length head-to-toe as Single mattresses. So if you’re a taller person, you may need to keep scrolling to the Queen mattress section.

Standard Delivery
If you have purchased larger items, items that are shipped directly from our warehouse, or if you are simply unable to visit your closest Amart Furniture Store for collection, we are happy to arrange delivery to your nominated address on a day that is convenient for you. Delivery charges apply.
When choosing Standard Delivery, please note:
- Your delivery will need to be signed for by somebody at the nominated delivery address.
- If you have paid for your purchases by credit card over the phone, the credit card holder will need to be available at the time of delivery so that the credit card details can be verified.
- If nobody is available to accept the delivery at the nominated address and time, we will be unable to complete the delivery. In those circumstances, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery and additional charges may apply.
- Please ensure that the access is appropriate for the furniture being delivered. This includes ensuring your doorways are wide enough to fit the product in, the item can fit upstairs or in a lift (if required) and that there is nothing blocking the path of the delivery in hallways, stairwells or driveways.
- If delivery is to an upstairs area, please advise the store at time of organising delivery.

Courier Delivery
If you have purchased smaller items that are shipped directly from our warehouse or items that are from our Online Exclusive range, delivery to your front door will be provided by our trusted courier delivery partners. Delivery charges apply.
- Once your items have been collected from our warehouse you will get a notification via sms or email with a tracking link. This tracking link will allow you to track the status of your order. In some cases, tracking updates could take 24 hours to update accurately.
- Metro delivery: Within 3 business days
